5th Annual Run for Remembrance

The Run for Remembrance will be held Saturday, November 8th at 9:00am in the Lowry neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Last year we had nearly 300 participants come show their support for the brave men and women who serve our nation in the armed forces.

A Run Like No Other.  The Run for Remembrance is open to all ages and provides a scenic tour of the former Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado.  Participants can choose to walk, jog or run the  5K or 10k road race.  For those looking for a challenge, the Run for Remembrance is the premier ruck sack race in Colorado.

Run or Ruck.  Choose to run the 5K or 10K with a 40lb ruck sack or backback and add the feel of boot camp to your experience. There'll be some active-duty military competing with a ruck as well to boost the competition. All participants who choose to run with a ruck or backpack will be entered into win prizes provided by our sponsors, and grand prizes to be awarded to the top finishers of the 5K and 10K.

Greater Good.  The this run benefits the Remembering the Brave Foundation, an organization dedicated to preserving the memories of brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country, and assisting their families in their time of loss. Participants in the race will enjoy a course through former Lowry Air Force Base, and a post-race expo at Lowry Beer Garden.
